Standart Consultancy exists for one reason: international owners of significant residences in Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean need someone independent, local and accountable to represent their interests when they are not there.

We are not a property-management company, an agency or a broker. We are an owner-side practice — an estate advisor and operational lead who turns a residence into something structured, visible and continuous. Where most arrangements leave knowledge in one person’s head and trust in good intentions, we put discipline, documentation and accountability in their place.

The work is quiet by design. A well-run residence is one you rarely have to think about. Our measure of success is simple: the owner has peace of mind, the family office has visibility, and the home is protected through structure rather than personality.

The founder

Hikmet Şükrü Ertangün is the founder of Standart Consultancy and the owner-side representative behind its engagements, working at the intersection of private residence operations, owner representation and estate advisory across Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean.

His career was built in senior security and operational leadership across high-stakes, safety-critical environments — where the cost of a missed detail is measured in consequence, not inconvenience. He has carried that same rigour into private residences: years on the ground in guest readiness, preventive maintenance, vendor accountability, renovation coordination, risk control and owner reporting, including as house manager and local representative within international branded-residence environments.

His strength is neither operational instinct nor structured method alone. It is turning the balance of the two into a system — judgement that can be documented, repeated and trusted long after any single conversation.

Our approach

Significant residences usually run on people. But over time, people change, roles change and priorities shift. Standart Consultancy exists to take how a residence runs out of any one person’s hands — and make it visible, traceable and continuous.

A well-run residence is held together not by daily operations alone, but by sound decisions, clear responsibilities and an operational memory that is preserved over time. Our focus is building and protecting the structure that sustains that continuity.
